What to Expect

A retreat for those craving slowness, softness, and space to reconnect.

In June 2026, I’m inviting a small circle of guests to join me in Sicily for a gentle, grounding retreat in a sun-filled villa nestled among a rural garden and lemon trees.

Held at a family-owned villa in the countryside, this retreat is an invitation to exhale. To let go of the daily noise. To move gently. To write or draw quietly. To nourish your body with local food. To be held by rhythm, warmth, and stillness.

  • Kundalini, Hatha, Gentle flow & Yin

  • Guided journaling, sketchbook prompts, and time for self practice

  • brunch, snacks, dinner.

  • Rest + spacious afternoons for swimming, sunbathing, reading and doing nothing!

What’s not Included

Flights and transfers are not included,

however we’re very happy to help arrange taxis for you, or coordinate taxi shares with other guests arriving on the same day. The nearest airport is Trapani (20 minutes) or Palermo (75 minutes). There are also coaches running from Palermo Airport to Marsala town, where we can pick you up or drop you off.

Local excursions are not included.

We can arrange taxis to the town, beach, or local markets. If you’d like to explore independently, we recommend renting a car as public transport is very limited. Weather permitting, we can organise group trips to the nearby islands (Mozia / Favignana) or to the towns of Marsala, Trapani or Erice. Guests will need to cover their own portion of transport costs by car or ferry.

Reiki treatments and private yoga sessions are available during your stay and are charged separately.

Meals taken outside the retreat (restaurants, cafés, gelaterias, etc.) are not included in the retreat price nor is alcohol.

Retreat Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy


After we have received a confirmation from you about securing your space on the 'Retreat', we hold the space for 48 hours, allowing time

to receive either a 25% deposit for a retreat booking. If the initial deposit has been paid, the remaining must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the start date. You have the option to pay in full or in instalments.

Definitions

The Booking Contract


No contract will exist until you have paid your deposit and a confirmation email has been received. This is because we only have limited places.

Once your confirmation deposit or full payment has been received, you will receive a final confirmation of the booking with a request for personal information / dietary requirements etc.

Insurance


Guests must have their own travel insurance to join a retreat with us which will cover them in the event that they are unable to attend due

to illness, bereavement or any other personal reason.

Retreat Cancellations


As mentioned under Insurance, guest must have their own travel insurance which will cover them in the event that they are unable to

attend due to illness, bereavement or any other personal reason. Though our spaces are limited we always endeavour to treat

cancellations sympathetically.


"Cancellation" is defined as you not attending your scheduled retreat, including postponing or rescheduling.

"You" refers to the guest booking a retreat.

"We" refers to Hannah Joseph Studio.

Please do read and understand our Cancellation Policy before making a reservation. If you proceed with a booking, it will be deemed that you have read and accepted our Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation Policy


Hannah Joseph Studio does not offer cash or credit card refunds for any reason.

We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest for the same retreat you originally booked. Should you need to cancel and we are able to resell your booked space, a portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat within one year of your original retreat date. A small admin fee will be charged for moving your booking. Depending on if we are able to resell your space and when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply.

Fees are determined by the following schedule:

  • If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another retreat within one year of your original retreat start date.

  • If you cancel 60 - 89 days before your retreat start date, 50% of your payment may be applied to another retreat within one year of your original retreat start date.

  • If you cancel 30 - 59 days before your retreat start date, 30% of your payment may be applied to another retreat within one year of your original retreat start date.

  • If you cancel 29 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your full payment.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.

We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early

Cancellation by us


We reserve the right in certain circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid within 10

working days. Should we have to cancel due to reasons beyond our control or through force majeure, a credit will be offered for you to

attend the reschedule retreat dates or another retreat within a determined timeframe (usually one year from your original retreat date).
