I illustrate from my encounters with places and people. I enhance these narratives by building a world around using words and visuals. Communicating and connecting with people through my work, telling stories that are valued by others are important to me. I find it exciting how illustration is able to convey something that is strange and impossible. Parallel worlds mixed in with the ordinary. It is through drawing that I articulate my experiences and surroundings. It is from a place of curiosity.
